It is very important for military personnel to orient themselves well in any terrain. For this purpose, a compass will come in very handy. The compass works on the principle of interaction between built-in permanent magnets and the Earth39;s magnetic field. Its arrows always point north and south.    The M-Tac compass comes in an aluminum frame (comprising a cover with a sight and a stand on which the compass capsule is mounted). The frame is used to set the azimuth. The azimuth is taken as follows: the long side of the compass is directed towards the landmark, then the dial is turned so that the north arrow coincides with the north mark on the dial. Below the index pointer, on the end of the frame, we can read the numerical value of the azimuth. This compass model is equipped with a viewing window to read the azimuth value more accurately. A ruler applied to the frame of the compass can also help to make accurate calculations.
